Grade Aplus: "Baby Grades" (prod. by MikeJaxx)

Grade Aplus is back with a new song under the Green Tangerine Co. banner, "Baby Grades." With production by MikeJaxx, Grade goes in about his parents telling him to get a real job and pulling an Oprah on former Disney Channel stars (i.e. "Have them pushing out some baby Grades/Flip the game/Make them ladies pay child support/Shit, I'll be crazy straight."). Who's having more fun than the duo of Grade and Jaxx right now?

Check out "Baby Grades" below, and if you're a lady feeling Grade's music, make some baby Grades for him.

Scientific: "SmokeWeedF*ckABadChick" (prod. by MikeJaxx)

"SmokeWeedF*ckABadChick" is Chicago rapper Scientific's first single off of his mixtape, Make Money Make History vol.2. Produced by LOD/Treated Crew/The Hydrox' MikeJaxx, the song is about achieving your dreams. For Scientific, it involves stacking money, smoking weed, and doing sex with a bad chick. Isn't that everybody's dream? Check out the song below.

#100Trill: "Feel Like It"

#100Trill is back with a new song, "Feel Like It." Money, weed, and alcohol is the holy trinity for the Chicagoland duo. Hey, if you have the power to do whatever you want whenever you feel like it, your holy trinity probably wouldn't deviate too far from that. Personally, my holy trinity consists of comic books, movies, and music... maybe that's why I'm not a successful Chicago rapper...

Regardless, listen to MikeJaxx and Grade Aplus do their thing. Like I've mentioned before, the duo is having fun with the #100Trill drops. Let their inherent fun infect you.

[RH Premiere] #100Trill: "Aye Bitch" (feat. Truth G)

100TrillAyeBitch3

Over the weekend, Grade Aplus tweeted, "We got the most ignant shit for [you] to ride to work to on Monday..." He said it, not me: this new #100Trill track, "Aye Bitch," embraces the "ignance" right from the beginning of the song with MikeJaxx setting the tone with the first bar of "Aye bitch, that pussy goooood." Grade and Jaxx, joined by Truth G, are very obviously having fun, which has been a common theme throughout each of the #100Trill songs that have been released thus far ("'93" and "Chain Clean"). There's a time and place for everything, as both Grade and Jaxx have shown with their previous work, and #100Trill shows that there is time to just cut loose and be ignant.

[Video] #100Trill X ElevenHundred interview

#100Trill (MikeJaxx and Grade Aplus) were recently interviewed by ElevenHundred for their upcoming documentary. Shot inside Jugrnaut, the mini-interview goes into a bit behind the mindset of the LOD members, including their adoption of the trill lifestyle, as well as a question I personally have wondered myself: "What's up with that gold piece, Jaxx?" The interview is set to #100Trill's "Chain Clean," which was a nice touch. Expect to hear more from the group... hopefully really soon.

ShowYouSuck: "Wayne Gretzky (CONGRATS CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS HOCKEY RULEZ)"

About two hours ago, the Chicago Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup with two goals in 17 seconds. While the majority of the city took to the streets in a sports-fueled riot, ShowYouSuck was with MikeJaxx to record a quick loosie to commemorate the Blackhawks' 5th Stanley Cup. Rapping over French Montana's "Ain't Worried About Nothin'," Show's "Wayne Gretzky (CONGRATS CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS HOCKEY RULEZ)" is tinged with hockey-inspired raps, name dropping the one hockey player (not named Casey Jones) that everybody knows, Wayne Gretzky. Sports!

Congratulations, Chicago Blackhawks. Congratulations hockey. Congratulations Chicago. Congratulations, rap music.

[RH Premiere] #100Trill: "Chain Clean"

My LOD brothers are back at it with their next #100Trill drop, "Chain Clean." MikeJaxx steps back up to the mic to remind everybody he has as many bars as he has beats. Grade Aplus, in turn, drops another solid verse with his laid back delivery. Make sure you catch that Harold's reference in there, where it's the only acceptable place to get mild over hot sauce. "Chain Clean" had me take out the Pennies in My Pocket, buying some TurnUpSnacks, then taught me how to keep it 100Trill. You see what I did there?

Check out the song below, and if you haven't yet, make sure you pick up Grade APlus' #TurnUpSnacks here.

ShowYouSuck: "Watching Walking Dead" (feat. Chris LeSage) (prod. by MikeJaxx)

What do you know about zombie raps? With vocals from Chris LeSage and production by Tha Hydrox' MikeJaxx, ShowYouSuck changes up his style to educate us about The Walking Dead. Jaxx switches up the trap sound he's known for with a drop transition full of smooth keys and LeSage's relaxed vocals. Will this prove to be the next musical evolution in the ShowYouSuck/MikeJaxx sound? We'll all just have to pay attention to Chicago's hometown hero.

Listen to "The Walking Dead" below, and be sure to catch ShowYouSuck at Alex Wiley's Club Wiley release party on June 6th.

"When I make songs I usually like to celebrate moments in my life and share my interest. This time around I wanted to celebrate the fact that I had recently finished getting caught up on the Walking Dead series. I got in the studio with Mike Jaxx to start working on a new sound, and this is the first record from this process. Hopefully I made a song for people who love watching the Walking Dead." -ShowYouSuck
