Monster Mike: "HEY" (feat. ProbCause)
Lately, Monster Mike has preferred dark-sounding instrumentals to rap over. Nonetheless, in this brand new collaborative cut with ProbCause, the beat is joyful with an up-beat tempo that cements Mike's ability to expand his musical portfolio into wider and more diverse sounds. Both emcees come correct and spit straight fire for almost two minutes straight, while complementing each other's style by bringing their own unique approach. Definitely worth a spot on your weekend playlist.

Lucki Eck$ & Monster Mike: "Whole $tain"
Few emcees can actually go bar-for-bar with Lucki Eck$ & Monster Mike, and if the two are on the same track, it's pretty much over for the competition. The response from the listeners the first time we had the chance to listen them collaborate on "48th/49th" (off Lucki's Alternative Trap 'tape) was way beyond positive, so they decided to unleash a new track entitled "Whole Stain". Produced by Plu2o Nash, this joint's dark and eerie vibes go in the same vein as the Alternative Trap sound and it's an encore of sorts for one of the best projects of the year. Listen below.
Monster Mike: "Mike Effect"
I was really excited to hear some new material by Monster Mike because he hasn't really released a whole lot of music in recent months, but his verse on Alex Wiley's "Nothing To Me" is still one of the best in 2013. As a matter of fact, that's why so much hype surrounded Mike's latest record "Mike Effect" before it dropped. Luckily for us, the Village-brethren did not disappoint and actually put out a very solid record with his usual eccentric rhymes plus a more polished flow than ever before. Produced by Plu2o Nash.
