[Video] Lili K: "Highlight the Moon"

It's been a good week for Chicagoan singer Lili K. In a week where her features on Chance the Rapper's "Acid Rap" received some much-deserved praise from publications such as the LA Times, the very talented singer released the video for her latest single off of her EP, "Metal Petals." Entitled "Highlight the Moon," the video, which was co-directed by Addison Wright and Lili K herself, showcases the ups and downs of the fictional relationship between Lili and Chicago tattoo artist extraordinaire Jason Hoodrich. The use of a Super 8-esque filter adds a soft, nostalgic saturation to the video that perfectly matches the song's reflective theme. It's always the attention to details that can help elevate the level of quality; good choice, guys.

You can download "Metal Petals" on Lili K's website here. If you're in Chicago, be sure to check out Lili K. and Peter CottonTale live TONIGHT at The Shrine (2109 S. Wabash) at 7pm for free!

[Video] Dally Auston: "W$GTM"

Capitalizing on the success of his debut full-length project The Wood, Dally Auston brings us a visual gem in the brand new video for "W$GTM". Catch Dally Auston chilling in Chicago's west-side with Jean Deaux, Joey Purp, Tokyo Shawn and handful of other Save Money affiliates below and get to know who really gets the money. Also, I really digged the artistic style director Verluxe implemented with the shots and how it synced perfectly the Smoko Ono-produced beat.

[Video] Phero: "V"

Phero hits Chicago’s streets alongside director Stephan Klapko while rocking a dope Vintage White Sox tee and a ski-mask for the badass video to “V” off his The Five Columns project. The menacing beat produced by Chris Classik fits perfectly with Phero’s raw delivery and flow while the emcee spits some of the best lines I’ve heard all year. Stay on the look out for the ‘tape, coming out May 24th.

[Video] Wheatie: "My 708's"

Wheatie walks through an abandoned house in this anti-climatic visual for his "My 708's" song. This dude has been growing on me with every new release, can't wait to see what he has planned for the near future.

[Video] Lil Durk: "Dis Ain't What You Want"

It was only right that Lil Durk would shoot the official video for "Dis Ain't What You Want" in his hometown. The introspective record could possible become the jam of the summer and Def Jam is really pushing the single, so it's a great possibility we could be getting a Lil Durk album soon, but in the meantime his Signed To The Streets 'tape will drop on June 23rd.

Martin $ky

[Video] Martin $ky: "It Don't Stop" (Trailer)

I normally tend to stay away from video teasers simply because I feel most of the time they're a nuisance and unnecessary. Nonetheless, this quick trailer for Martin $ky's "It Don't Stop" video caught my attention and actually got me excited to see the full thing directed by Bono Nikolic . Peep below.

[Video] Chris Crack: "The Interlude"

Chris Crack brings us a new visual for a relatively old song in "The Interlude", which you can find on his debut project D.O.P.E.. For the video, he worked with director Davy Greenberg to show you how a normal day chilling with his homies looked like. You can also spot Chris getting his fresh on while rocking a Stussy tee and a Treated Crown. Watch below.
