[RH First Glance] Tay Walker: "Karma"
Tay Walker is a keyboardist/vocalist for the breakthrough experimental electronic group The Internet, who made waves last year with their album, Feel Good, which found its way onto almost every year-end list there was for 2013. Not one to be impressed with that success, Walker is preparing to branch out into his own solo work and today dropped the video for his first single, "Karma," due out on his debut album, 25 Hours a Day which is expected sometime this Spring. The project is rumored to have features from Mac Miller and Casey Veggies, and of course some production coming from The Internet compatriots, Syd The Kid and Harry Fraud. If "Karma" is any indication of what's ahead, Tay Walker may find himself on plenty of lists again this year. Check out the video, streaming below.
Earl Sweatshirt Announces "Wearled Tour"
Earl Sweatshirt, who rose from a expedited, mysterious lyricist to one of the leaders of the next generation of hip-hop artists on the strength of his recent relesae, Doris, today announced his first headlining tour. The "Wearled Tour" kicks off in Fort Collins and Denver next week before taking off for dates in Australia, for Laneway Festival, and New Zealand. The 19-year-old Odd Future affiliate is currently in the process of working on his follow-up to Doris, before spending the Spring skipping around the world. The growth in hip-hop is real, as can be seen from Earl and his peer and tourmate last summer on Mac Miller's Space Migration Tour, Chance The Rapper. [Album] MellowHigh: "MellowHigh"
Ever since OFWGKTA hit the scene a few years back when Tyler ate a tarantula in his over-exposed nightmare that was Bastard, Odd Future has been a staple of the modern hip-hop world. While Tyler and Earl provided the intensity and wow factor, it has always been Domo Genesis and Hodgy Beats who were recognized as the truest lyricists of the collective. Having released a couple projects as MellowHype, the pair finally teamed up with fellow OFWGKTA producer Left Brain for a full project that has been awhile in the making. True to their original name, the buzz around the album hasn't been crazy, save for a couple songs dropped on SoundCloud and the video for "Yu" which dropped earlier this month. With their latest, self-titled offering, Domo and Hodgy feel right at home over the Left Brain beats. Check out the full stream via Myspace here below along with dates for their current tour which hits Tucson, Arizona tomorrow.

[Video] Tyler, The Creator: "Tamale"
Tyler is back with the latest visual to come from his Wolf release earlier this year. "Tamale" is directed by Tyler's alter-ego Wolf Haley and has some definite Tim and Eric-esque vibes to it. What else can we really expect from the Odd Future leader at this point anyway? Check out "Tamale" below as soon as possible.
