Everybody is on their phone. Thousands of people everyday wear out their thumbs scrolling through photos, deciding which ones to post on Instagram. It’s so easy to do whether you’re a photographer or not; just point, shoot, choose a filter and post whatever you created. From funny duck face selfies, to breathtaking landscapes, to gritty city streets. Some use it as visual journal giving glimpses of their lives, while others have taken it to another level by creating works of art. All of us at Ruby Hornet are fans of the social media platform and decided to do a weekly series highlighting people whose Instagrams stand above the rest. Let us know in the comments section if you’d like to be featured, or let us know about some other cool Instagrams. Be sure to follow Ruby Hornet Instagram, too.

This week’s featured Instagram comes from @ravivora. Director/Photographer @ravivora has a gallery full of amazing images from some amazing places around the globe. The scenery and composition of the photos really make this one great gallery to follow. This definitely is one of my favorite Instagram accounts because of the quality of work and the variety of photos. Take a look at a few of his shots, and be sure to head on over to his Instagram for more great imagery.

Nikon Could Face Class Action Lawsuit For D600 Camera Issues

I guess it was only a matter of time before a lawsuit of some kind would be brought against Nikon for their faulty D600 full frame camera. It is being reported that US law firm Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein is gearing up to file a class-action lawsuit against Nikon because of the widely reported sensor dust and oil issues. Many have complained that the issues of dust and oil on the sensor have resulted in unusable, spotted images.

Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein said the following about the lawsuit:

"Nikon did not identify the cause for the debris buildup on the D600 sensor, nor acknowledge, as many consumers have alleged, that this is a widespread problem with the camera. To eliminate the unwanted and distracting spots in their photos, D600 owners have had to repeatedly send the camera to service technicians for cleaning at great inconvenience and cost."

There is still no definite answer that this lawsuit will actually go through, but I am sure it has gotten the attention of Nikon. Even with all of the problems, it has been reported that the company has replaced the shutter of cameras that have been sent in, but did not fix the issue 100%. Some people have been lucky enough to actually receive a new camera, sometimes even being replaced by the new Nikon D610. We'll see what happens and how will Nikon handle the issue, but if you own a Nikon D600 and are having issues with it, reach out to Nikon's customer service.

Happy Birthday To The Legendary Bob Marley

If Bob Marley would have been alive today, he would be celebrating his 69th birthday. Even though he's not here, many of us are celebrating his music and his spirit not only today, but everyday. His music is timeless and still relevant to this day and will continue to be because his songs were about people, freedom, and love. Here's a man that wanted to see change in the world and used his talent of music to get that message across. It's really not hard to relate to at least one Bob Marley song, and that is why he has so many fans from all walks of life. As he once said, "One good thing about music: when it hits you, you feel no pain." With this, I say, "Happy Birthday, Bob and know that the sun is still shining."

One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.

Emilie by David Bellemere for Treats! Magazine [NSFW]

Photos by David Bellemere

The limited edition quarterly magazine Treats! has released its sixth issue to the masses. For its latest, the magazine enlisted the help of Paris-based photographer David Bellemere to capture model Emilie in all her glory. As the magazine states, Bellemere "fuses a ‘70s-inspired tableaux with modern natural light and sensuality on the coast of Morocco for our sixth issue." This is not the first time Bellemere has worked with the magazine, whose aim is to bring you exclusive content from renowned models, stylists, photographers, and writers. One thing's for sure: the stylist for this photo shoot had an easy day at the office with Emilie being photographed entirely in her birthday suit. Judging by Emily Ratajkowski's photo spread in the third issue, I'm sure you'll will be patiently awaiting for more exclusive content from Treats! in the future.

BTS Photos of Chance The Rapper's Social Experiment Tour

If you haven't heard by now, Chance The Rapper had a pretty good year last year. The Chicago kid dropped Acid Rap in May and went on to essentially take the music scene by storm. After getting practice opening for Childish Gambino and Mac Miller on their tours, Chance decided to end 2013 right, by piling as many fellow artists and friends as he could fit into a pair of buses and traveling the country for two and a half months, selling out nearly every show along the way. One of those on the bus was talented photographer Allen Daniels whose Polaroid shots were used as a background for Chance's Riviera shows. He was a fly on the wall for the extent of the Social Experiment Tour and yesterday the tour documented through his lens hit the Internet on Chanceraps.com. Check out the shots of Pat The Manager, Peter CottonTale, Donnie Trumpet, Greg Landfair, Nate Fox and the gang in the gallery below.

The Super Bowl has come and gone, putting an end to another season of football. Many tuned in for the game, and many more simply wanted to catch all the new commercials. There was a lot to talk about, whether it was Joe Namath's fur coat or the lopsided game that started off with a safety. All in all, congratulations to the Seattle Seahawks for winning a Super Bowl, and for the Broncos, well... there's always next year, right?

That being said, here are a few images of the night in case you missed some of the action on Super Bowl Sunday. If you didn't get a chance to check the halftime show with Bruno Mars and The Red Hot Chili Peppers, you can watch it here.
