Tyler, The Creator Remixes The Prophet

Tyler, The Creator has been releasing a ton of loose singles recently. Today he added a remix to Prophet's "I Wanna Be Your Man" called "Peach Fuzz". Tyler kicks things off by singing the hook before getting into a verse where he shouts out Prophet and Stones Throw. "Peach Fuzz" is a quick one off song like the other singles he's released this summer. The original song came out in 1984 but was re-issued by Stones Throw Records this year. Listen below.

Leather Corduroys to Perform in Chicago

It's coming. The chill in the air is just hitting the Midwest, a sign of what winter has in store. Luckily, Chicago has something this year to keep it warm: Leather Curduoroys. No, it's not a new fashion item from Kanye, but the name of two of Save Money's finest, Kami de Chukwu and Joey Purp. Why Leather Corduroys? Because what's hotter than that. "Think of the first thing you thought of when you heard the name 'Leather Corduroys," asked Chukwu at an interview in Pilsen the other day. "The temperature of your legs. It's an unimaginable concept, you can't have leather corduroys, it's like having seersucker suede," responded Joey.  The duo brings the heat to Blue 1647 in Pilsen this weekend as part of a new event series in the Windy City named The Antidote. The event will feature a bazaar-type of atmosphere, with independent vendors from the music, art and tech fields set up. Both the space, Blue 1647, and the event are exactly what the city needs to incubate artistic talent and grow the community through something similar to the Brookyln Bazaar. Joining Leather Corduroys performing on Saturday are The GTW and The Holy Kit with DJ sets from Stay Gold (Sir Devin Hudson Beng Feng) and DJ 20 Minutes. It's getting chilly, why not warm yourself up with some ruffled leather? Take a listen to Leather Cord's song "Prophet" and click here for tickets.

Leather Corduroys (Kami de Chukwu & Joey Purps): "Prophet" (feat. The Mind)

SaveMoney's Kami de Chukwu & Joey Purps have formed a new duo called Leather Corduroys and wack rappers better be afraid, because these two are not holding back and attacking the mic with vicious rhymes. They have already proven just how reckless they can get when they rap on the same track in “Illuminati Slumber Party”, but now they're back with "Prophet" which holds a more laid-back vibe courtesy of THEMpeople.
