[Video] Jhene Aiko & Sampha Perform at Future Festival
BBC Radio 1 has been celebrating its Future Festival with a series of inspired performances from some of the tope rising acts across the music landscape and yesterday had Jhene Aiko & Sampha perform as part of the event. Aiko, whose performance followed appearances this week on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and Saturday Night Live, gave the audience a live rendition of her song, "The Worst". Playing on the ominous Drake theme in the room (both artists appear on Nothing Was The Same), Sampha took over to perform his sonically endearing song, "Too Much". Check out both performances, streaming live below.
SBTRKT: "Runaway"
SBTRKT rang in the new year with a rousing performance at the Yung Turks party in Mexico City, alongside the likes of the xx, Grimes and more, and dropped the final track from his live set as a special memento from the show. "Runaway" was released the day after the New Year's Eve set by SBTRKT via his Soundcloud and features the likes of Jessie Ware and Sampha on the track, along with Tic. The track is comfortably upbeat and in the mold of tracks from SBTRKT's last self-titled project. SBTRKT on his latest: "The last track from my set last night. collab with friends Jessie Ware, tic and a sprinkle of Sampha from 2 years back! happy 2014." Check out the full stream for "Runaway" here below.

Sampha Premieres "Courtesy" on BBC1
Sampha, who took off from where he was last year by linking up with Drake, yesterday stopped by BBC Radio1 to debut his latest song, "Courtesy" as part of a 28-minute mix he did for the station. The song comes in at the 19:50 mark of the player below and is a soulful, instrumental affair, stripped down to Sampha and the keys as he croons over the melodic arrangement. Recorded live at Maida Vale with Benji B, the track is a furtherance of the more soulful side of Sampha since his days working in a more up-tempo atmosphere as part of SBTRKT. One thing is for sure, we should be seeing plenty of him for awhile to come.
Sampha: "Can’t Get Loose" (Jacques Greene Remix)
Ever since Drake put talented artist Sampha on "Too Much" off his latest album, Nothing Was The Same, it seems that the track is all people have heard from one half of SBTRKT. Well, Jacques Greene went beyond just hearing the one track and remixing it, giving Sampha's solo track, "Can't Get Loose", off his Dual EP, his own special treatment. Sampha has one of those voices you can listen to all day, and Greene deftly adds his unique up-tempo dance vibes that up the ante for the song while not overshadowing the original aesthetic of the track. [Video] SBTRKT: "Experiment"
Earlier this year, dance duo SBTRKT released their experimental track, "IMO" to the masses. Just before the weekend the British pair dropped "Experiment" a video chock full of heavy-sided kick drum bass and cutting snare hits that further up the game that Sampha and Aaron Jerome have established for themselves since releasing their debut, self-titled project last year. Check out the latest from SBTRKT here below.

Sampha: "Happens"
One half of SBTRKT, the thick-voiced Sampha is back with both a new track and visual today via Young Turks. His latest, "Happens" is side two of his dual-sided Too Much/Happens AA-single, featuring the previously released "Too Much", out today on iTunes. Check out the video below and expect plenty more coming from Sampha soon.

[Video] Sampha: "Too Much"
For many, Sampha's scene-stealing appearance on Drake's Late Night With Jimmy Fallon performance was the first time they had heard from the singer. Nonetheless, since then he has been able to build up a nice buzz and will release the original version of "Too Much" through Young Turks as a single. To push the record, Sampha shot a video which you can peep below.
