[Video] "Don't Talk" PSA featuring The World's End's Edgar Wright, Nick Frost, and Simon Pegg

With Edgar Wright's (Shaun of the Dead) next film, The World's End, releasing in theaters this Friday, it's a better time than any to post the Alamo Drafthouse "Don't Talk" PSA that was shot to promote the final installment in the Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy. Much like the "Don't Talk" PSA for Before Midnight, this latest PSA features Wright and The World's End stars Simon Pegg (Star Trek) and Nick Frost (Hot Fuzz) imploring theater audiences to stay off of their phones and not talk through the movie lest they face the consequences.

While the Alamo Drafthouse doesn't currently have any plans to expand to Chicago, I'll continue hoping and praying that the film fanatic-friendly theater will come to their senses sooner than later. If you can't wait until Friday to catch The World's End, I suggest replaying a trailer over and over until the end of the work week comes.

[Trailer 2] The World's End

Following the first teaser trailer for Edgar Wright's The World's End is the first full trailer, exclusively premiered by Yahoo. The trailer provides more information on the film's premise, plus expands on a lot of the scenes already seen in the initial teaser trailer. As if excitement wasn't already high after the first look at The World's End, this trailer gives a better idea of what to expect from Wright's final film in the Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy.

Why are there blue-ink alien/human things? Why doesn't Nick Frost's character drink beer? Why would Simon Pegg's character jump on to a car roof, thinking it would be a good idea? We'll find out on August 23rd.

[Trailer] The World's End

The first trailer for Edgar Wright's (Shaun of the Dead) next film, The World's End, appeared overnight like a Christmas morning present. The trailer for the film, which I listed as one of the Top 10 Summer '13 Movies, sheds some light on the story. Desperate to finish a pub crawl they never had a chance to 20 years prior, Gary (Simon Pegg) reunites with his friends Andy (Nick Frost), Steven (Paddy Considine), Oliver (Martin Freeman), and Peter (Eddie Marsan) to have a pint of beer at the 12 pubs in the fictional Newton Haven. However, they soon discover that things aren't as they seem, as the community is filled with questionable characters.

Watch the trailer below, which is full of beers, ridiculously talented British actors, and Nick Frost punching people with bar stools as boxing gloves. The World's End will be ending worlds in theaters on August 23rd.
