If you have seen the film Jellyfish Eyes from Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, then you will probably recognize the creatures seen in the photos for Harper’s Bazaar latest issue. Murakami is known for his animated characters and surreal cityscapes, and now he has brought them into the real world. With the help of photographer Jason Schmidt and model Angela Lindvall, Murakami brings some of his film characters out to spend a day out in the streets Los Angeles. Check out the photos from the shoot and head over to Harper’s Bazaar for their interview with Takashi here.
