The year’s largest TV event is set to take place when Puppy Bowl X airs this Sunday. Unfortunately, it sometimes tends to be overshadowed by the Super Bowl, a football championship match in case you’ve never heard of it (and I can’t blame you, either). Somehow, despite the Puppy Bowl’s sheer brilliance and marketing potential, many companies like to spend vast amounts of money advertising their products during the Super Bowl, with the biggest hits coming from the beer and film industries.

As we get closer to Super Bowl Sunday, many film studios are releasing their special Super Bowl TV spots ahead of the game to ensure they don’t get lost amidst the supermodels, beer commercials, and the like. It’s very fitting, then, that the Kevin Costner-led, Ivan Reitman-directed Draft Day would have a Super Bowl TV spot, considering the film’s premise – Cleveland Browns GM has to weigh any potential outcome or backlash following his attempt to get the number one pick on draft day.

If you don’t plan on watching either of the bowls this Sunday, find comfort knowing that the studio behind Draft Day made that decision a little bit sweeter. Draft Day will be in theaters on April 11th.
