We’ve all seen the cartoon glimpse at the all-new, all-rebooted Godzilla, but today gives us our first real look at the mother of monster movies. The teaser trailer for the Gareth Edwards’ take on Gojira shares a hint at the new Godzilla. There are still no plot details, but any footage is good footage. It’s good to hear the familiar Godzilla screech, even if it has been altered a bit.
The Godzilla reboot is currently scheduled for a May 16, 2014 release. Until then, you can get your kaiju film fill with Pacific Rim.
