If you’re anything like me, you’re probably going through meth story withdrawals thanks to the end of Breaking Bad. Fortunately, we’ll all be able to get a fix this Thanksgiving. Homefront is a Sylvester Stallone-written film starring Jason Statham (The Expendables) and James Franco (Spring Breakers). Statham stars as Phil Broker, a former DEA agent who retires to a small town in the bayou with his daughter. Unbeknownst to him, however, is the town is a den for drugs and violences led by a local meth lord, Heisenberg Gator Bodine (Franco). Phil is then forced to return to action to protect himself and his daughter once word of his former profession becomes public.

Many people hold Franco’s Spring Breakers performance against him. However, his portrayal of Alien has been one of the best performances of his career. Franco’s ability to devote himself fully into eccentric character roles has been crucial for his career. In Homefront, he’ll be able to both show off his character acting range while also getting his hands dirty in a few action scenes. Statham, meanwhile, is Statham being Statham, which is definitely not a bad thing.

Homefront will be out in theaters on November 27th.
