In the midst of tweets about the BET Awards, artichokes and lost luggage, ?uestlove of The Roots announced that the band is working on a new album and that it will be titled &TYSYC. ?uestlove also said that it “will be regular.” The “regular” is in reference to The Roots 13th album, undun, which was a conceptual LP that told a story in reverse of a young kid that made some bad decisions and ultimately lost his life to the streets and the system. ?uestlove did not explain what &TYSYC meant, but did shoot down “then you sold young chickens,” which was suggested by one user. Stay tuned for more details as they emerge.
