Bone Thugs n’ Harmony, performing at Day 1 of Rock The Bells in San Bernadino, California, had a special guest appearance from beyond the grave. Following suit with 2pac’s posthumous performance at Coachella last year, another West Coast native has been resurrected as Eazy-E’s likeness graced the stage September 7 with Bone Thugs, performing “Straight Outta Compton” and looking a bit less convincing then ‘Pac was a year ago; nostalgic nonetheless. The set was also notable because it was Layzie Bone’s last with the group after announcing he was leaving Bone Thugs n’ Harmony. While it may be a sad day for fans of the Cleveland group, their last set together certainly continued the conversation of using dead artists as onstage collaborators. Eazy-E’s son also weighed in on the performance. Check the video below for more.
