From the deep South Side comes Keify K making his first appearance on Ruby Hornet. “Outfits” has an old-school street rap vibe to it, accented by the street shot-heavy visuals by Kayjeewon, a boom-bap beat mixed with some keys, and Keify’s lyrical penchant for the classic hip hop era. Overall, the video and song is simple and clean, but Keify taps into that simplicity to display how his style and message is anything but. Amidst the crowded Chicago scene full of drill and party raps, Keify K’s paving his own way, one release at a time.
