Kendrick Lamar appeared on Sway’s “Sway In The Morning” Show on Shade 45. He talked to Sway about Dr. Dre’s Detox, saying the long-awaited LP is in the mixing process. Kendrick also mentioned his passion for music keeping him afloat, and drops a very nice freestyle. One highlight is Kendrick’s explanation of the purpose for #Section80. The Compton emcee uses the title to refer to people and the times since 1980, ones that he feels may not be able to related to his favorite emcees from an older generation.
