During a concert at L.A.’s Music Box on August 19th, Kendrick Lamar officially grabbed the torch of West Coast Hip Hop from previous owners such as Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, and even Game. Snoop’s words set in stone what many fans, critics, and artists already knew: Kendrick Lamar is the truth and one of the best artists of the current time. Lamar’s passion shines through on in each song, and showed again on stage as he broke down in tears while accepting words from Snoop and Game. Watch the official footage below.
