Some people are wiser than their years, possessing a greater ability to see the big picture and think of others instead of themselves. Luke may have been born in the mid-90’s but his lyrics shed light many layers down on situations and issues that would rarely cross the mind of your average high-schooler. “The Social Network”, his last track/music video to appear on RH, highlighted the problems that arise when technology is substituted for person-to-person interactions (as I sit here typing away…). He follows this track with one inspired by the recent events in Japan. Brian Eno’s 1977 song by the same title is sampled, matching the lyrics and visuals nicely. This track was also sampled in Living Legends’ “Never Falling Down”. The video was once again directed by Kenneth Cabanilla and it possesses some moving footage.

When I listen to Luke Christopher, I’m reminded of Asher Roth. Funny thing is….Luke is going to drop a mixtape soon and I’ll let you guess who is rumored to have a feature. Make the jump to check out the video.
