DC native, MalcolmX‘s “Sequester Part I (Young Kings)” is a polarizing record with a dark vibe and introspective rhymes filled with aspirations and self-belief with help by Angel & Ike Da Kid. The gloomy synths match perfectly with Malcolm’s mellow flow and the video’s slow-paced format. I don’t know much else from the 23-year-old artist, but the fact that he does a little bit of everything (studio art, concert development, clothing manufacturing) and he has a project on the way.
