There is no other way to put this, but Chicago is finally started to get it here as Mikkey Halsted has announced that legendary Chicago Producers No I.D. and The Legendary Traxster will be handling the production for his next LP. In the video below all 3 artists speak on the importance of an LP of this magnitude for an artist who was yet to blow as big as he deserves. Traxster goes in-depth stating it was partially Mikkey’s Power Freestyle (presented by Ruby Hornet) that solidified their decision to work with Halsted. It’s about time for one of Chicago’s most slept on lyricists to get go 100%, and actually have a chance to make one of the album’s of the year.
