Yesterday, Phantogram released their video for “Black Out Days” off their recent, self-titled project via Filter. Directed by Evan Spencer Brace, the video is a vibrant grab bag of images set against a simple black background. Scenes flash from people wrestling in milk, to a falconer, paintings of gold etc. before cutting to Sarah Barthel singing in front of projected images while Josh Carter physically interprets. It’s an artistic affair, to be sure, and something that could certainly use a couple views to really soak it all in. The duo has plans to drop Voices, the follow up to this year’s release, on February 18 but you can pre-order it now on iTunes. Check out the latest from Phantogram below.
