One thing I’ve always gotten from Phonte, whether on his solo stuff, Foreign Exchange, or Little Brother stuff, is his level-headed view of music and how it relates to his life and the lives of others. “Dance In The Reign” is another great example of that, with clever wordplay, mixed with keen observations and reflections on Hip Hop and life. Phonte is like one of those dudes that is just too good not to keep making music.
