Rockie Fresh sat down with BET recently and talked about being a part of the MMG team and knowing his role. Rockie tells BET that he knows exactly where he fits within Rick Ross’ heavy roster, and that he wants to stick to the lane he’s been paving since his first release. Fresh also gives props to Lupe Fiasco, and speaks on his forthcoming mixtape, Electric Highway. He also goes in-depth on his efforts to shape the vibe for his first proper album. “The storytelling’s going to be crazy. It’s going to be real. It’s going to be motivating young people to reach their goals,” Rockie said about his first LP, seeking to create something that will spark feelings from listeners is way similar to The College Dropout and The Love Below..
