The Roots new album, undun, a concept album about a young man drawn into a life of crime, will be released on December 6th via Def Jam. Today they released the video for “Tip The Scale” featuring Dice Raw. The video is black and white, and paints a similar picture as the album’s cover (shown above). Taking place on a November morning in 1990, the video’s protagonist walks through the slums as Black Thought’s words serve almost as a narrative of what the young man sees and doesn’t want to become.
