So it has become a trend in the online Hip Hop community for people to sort of blur the lines between comedy and seriousness in their music and their brands. For me, it usually takes a while to warm up to these types of artists and really see what everyone else sees. Most of the time I usually just continue to think they’re clowns, regardless of how successful they become. Bozo was probably loaded. However, there are some dudes out here that will forever be goofy ass lames. With that said, I would like to introduce you to B-Dub and Young Hatti, a.k.a, Gorilla Milk.
Before I get into how awkward these dudes are, I just want to first say that it sounds like the song was recorded in an empty living room on the built-in mic of somebody’s Dell. If you’re gonna be sending your video to a popular online publication, I suggest you get that s**t together, at the least. You already can’t rap, and have a horrific, horrific flow, and the last thing I want to do is listen to it on a Garage Band mix your “self-taught” ass did.
Next thing, don’t talk about how much expensive s**t you have or do, and then be blatantly broke as hell in your video. The song is called “VIP” and you guys are outside in front of the club the whole damn time! Obviously, you have no idea what the f**k that term means. Secondly, you guys are drinking cans of Bud Light, PBR and Dasani water in a back yard? What?! You know what else is the opposite of VIP? Both of these hair styles. Unless you are Kat Williams, you are NOT in the VIP with a ponytail and a baggy ass button-up dude. And this other dude is rocking the Dr. Doolittle and a Gap polo… Unacceptable. You two look like JC Penny’s managers.
Finally… Can you two look any more uncomfortable on camera?! If you have to do that stupid bounce that school teachers do when they hear Hip Hop at homecoming dances, this is not the career for you. I also blame whoever edited this video. Because it’s like they only used shots where these guys look lost and confused. Unless that’s how they always look, which is HIGHLY likely. If that’s the feeling you guys wanted to convey with this video, you did a great job, because I don’t know what to think or why I’m still watching this.
So, thank you, Gorilla Milk, for sending us this clusterf**k of a video. It is a great example of how to lose. I hope you guys work on what I told you… or just cut it out with the rapping. Either way…. good luck trying to find the VIP outside.
….and what the f**k is Gorilla Milk? Ugh.
