[RH First Glance] Lava King: "LavaLamp"

Lava King makes his RH debut today with a new visual for his single "LavaLamp." With the Point • and • Shoot team behind the lens, the young emcee brings to life a record that best showcases his engaging flow and peculiar imagery for those who are just getting in tune with his music. There isn't much information out there on Lava King, but hopefully a full-length project is in the works.

[Video] Ibn Inglor: "BLACK PRINT"

Ibn Inglor is a promising up-and-coming artist from Chicago who has been able to make his music be heard all across the country just based off the quality it exudes. No connections or fake interactions with people in the medium. That type of realness is palpable in his latest album New Wave (which we sadly missed on posting when it came out) and especially in "BLACK PRINT." The single is more of a statement by Ibn on the industry, bloggers, and his craft without any sugar-coating. In a time in which fans clamor for raw and passionate music, Ibn fits in perfectly with his erratic style. The track received a visual treatment and it premiered on The Fader yesterday, make sure you watch it and give his 'tape a chance.

You might not have heard of the Grindhouse yet, but you've most likely have heard music from the Grindhouse. Inspired by RZA, Doc spent almost two years crafting a true local opus by gathering both legendary and up-and-coming acts, supplying them with hot instrumentals and putting it all together for a true showcase of all the talent brewing in the city. Akbar, Pugs Atomz, Psalm One, Griff, GLC, Treated Crew, SaveMoney, ProbCause, Legion Of Dudes, Martin $ky, Pavy, Onis and many more are featured in Welcome To The Grindhouse, available for free download below.

Alex Wiley

[Video] Alex Wiley: "Own Lane"

One of Chicago's most buzzing artists invites us into a psychedelic world through the visual for "Own Lane," the trippy-like cinematic clip from Alex Wiley. The Village member partnered up with the homies over at Visual Mecca and conceptualized a 3-part music video series that'll feature the one below, "The Woods," and "Suck It Revolution." "Own Lane" was first shown to a select audience as part of a #SpeakEasy event series that will also premiere the other two visuals on November 21st and December 5th. Make sure you stay on the look-out for more information on how to RSVP for these events in the coming weeks.

All songs are from the popular ClubWiley mixtape, which is arguably one of the best 'tapes to come out in 2013. Go download it if you haven't done so already!
