During our Closed Sessions: ATX release party in Austin I had the chance to DJ for El Prez during his set. His set included this track, “I’m Gone (King Kong)” and the room went nuts. I remember being on stage and catching Mic Terror (who was hosting the event) in full Hip Hop face scrunch. “I’m Gone (King Kong)” adds synths to a syrupy Ro Blvd production and El Prez rocks out off Bombay, and the earth’s best medicine. If you don’t get it, don’t worry.
