The Chicago Tribune’s Greg Kot reported today the Eminem, The Foo Fighters, and Muse are amongst the early headliners of the 2011 edition of Lollapalooza, which will return to Chicago’s Grant Park on August 5-7. Other acts are believed to be Lykke Li, Girl Talk, Crystal Castles, and Best Coast. Eminem would be a huge headliner, as well as a big draw. To my knowledge he has not played any show in Chicago in a long time, and I can easily see him boosting Lolla ticket sales on the day that he headlines. Kot also reports that Lollapalooza is expected to announce three additional headliners, and the full lineup should be announced in April.
