We linked up with Columbia College’s student run record label, AEMMP Hip Hop, to find the best emcees, producers, and singers that Colubmia College has to offer. Each week we will be spotlighting a new talent that is balancing homework and studio sessions. Featured artists will see their music posted on the site, and will also be interviewed for a feature article. The first featured artist is Haile, a student originally from Indianapolis, Indiana currently making music in the windy city. Haile is beginning to make a name for himself after being featured on AEMMP’s Class President project and collaborating with other Chicago artists. On this new track, “Animal”, Haile uses the classic “Nas Is Like” to characterize his own style. Peep the new record below, and look for Haile’s full feature to drop on Monday.
