Sean CK is going to hate me for saying this, but I kind of dig Lil’ Durk. I think he is the most talented and grounded in the whole GBE camp. I had the chance to meet Durk at SoundScape many months ago before he went to jail and he was very humble and new to everything. He’s been recording at SoundScape a lot lately, and from what I’ve seen, has grown a lot. His newest record features Wale, and is a fairly reflective and heartfelt joint, with both artists wanting something better for themselves and for their people. Listen to the new cut below.
