Lupe Fiasco’s Food & Liquor 2: Part 1 is scheduled to drop this September. Last month he released the album’s first single, “Freedom Ain’t Free”. He said at that time, that the album’s second single would be even a more attention-grabbing record. I think he’s succeeded with “Bitch Bad”, the newly released single produced by the Audibles. Before you think Lupe’s gone all auto-tune on us, rest assured that Lupe is sticking to his no dumbing down promise in this record which examines the word “bitch” and those that use it as a false positive. Throughout the record, Lupe seems to make the point that no matter how much you dress it up, it’s still nothing attractive. Listen below and cop it on iTunes if you dig it.
