The Museum of Contemporary Art in L.A. opened their spectacular “Art In The Streets” exhibition over the weekend.  “Art In The Streets” showcases the street art movement in full, showing pieces that date back to the 1970’s and continue to the modern day.  The exhibition’s goal is to show how street art has gone from the most basic local level to a worldwide movement.  It features work from artists such as Fab Five Freddy, Banksy, Swoon, RISK, Futura, Lee Quinones, and many many more.  Obviously, we’re in Chicago and couldn’t attend, but there are many many recaps out there to get you up to speed.  Two that I found pretty dope come from Dante Ross and Hypebeast. The exhibition will run in L.A. through August, and then make it’s way to NYC…

If you’re an L.A. resident and have pics, video, or anything else from “Art In The Streets” hit me up at Alex@RubyHornet.com and I’ll gladly post it up!
