NoName

I told you months ago about No Name, an amazing poet and emcee that I first discovered during Kevin Coval’s release party for his book More Shit Chief Keef Don’t Like. This morning, No Name emailed me her newest record, “Paradise” featuring Queen SheCago.  The song hits on many levels, fueled by a catchy and nostalgia-drenched hook, which carries the universal reminder that nobody wants to grow up, but everybody has to.  No Name is able to draw listeners in with the song’s chorus and theme, while getting deeper and intricate inside the verses.  This is another example of how dope she is, and a breathe of fresh air.  Peep the record below, and look for more.
