“Darling I’ll bathe your skin, I’ll even wash your clothes, just give me some candy before I go.”
I couldn’t sleep and was up pretty early this morning, early enough to actually catch a slew of music videos on regualr MTV and or VH1, the details are hazy…Anyway, the standout of my morning viewing session was definitely Paolo Nutini and his video for “Candy”. The song appears on Nutini’s recently released sophomore album, Sunny Side Up (Atlantic Records), and has elements of old folk as well as some 90’s introspective rock (I gues I just also described the Wallflowers, cha ching)…Anyway, for those put off by The Wallflowers reference, check out the video below to form your own conclusions, and then perhaps revisit Jakob Dylan…to learn more about Paolo Nutini click here.
