Ro Spit represents Pontiac, Michigan’s best and brightest when it comes to Hip Hop. While the town is somewhat unknown, Spit does have lyrical shoes to fill, as Pontiac is also home to Binary Star’s One Be Lo. Ro is heavily involved in the Detroit scene as well, lacing up his boots for the “I Believe In Detroit” campaign an effort to invigorate the struggling Motor City. Ro is currently readying his new project, Glass Ceilings, which is produced fully by Austin Peaks. Peaks also produced Dom Kennedy’s acclaimed mixtape, From The Westside With Love. The first single from Glass Ceilings is “The City”, in which Ro tackles the same issues that spark his desire to be a part of the I Believe in Detroit campaign in the first place.
