[News] 2 Chainz drops his new album Pretty Girls Like Trap Music
2 Chainz is a hit maker, but Pretty Girls Like Trap Music shows there are deeper ambitions afoot. His production arm is strong—Mike WiLL Made-It, Murda Beatz, and Mike Dean all put in work. He speaks his mind, dissing the government and “mumble-rap” while Nicki Minaj references her Remy Ma beef on “Realize.” Pharrell leaves his platinum imprint on “Bailan.” Then 2 Chainz puts his life story out there on the revelatory “Burglar Bars”—the realest song he’s ever cut.

Listen: Jermaine Dupri x Da Brat ft Mishon - "Level Up"
One of the greatest tandems in hip-hop ever is back! They have a brand new joint out now that you may probably want to add to your playlist, ASAP! Legendary producer, writer and mogul, Jermaine Dupri and the first female rapper to go platinum, from Chicago, Da Brat are back together again! Hip-Hop and 90's teens rejoice! The new song is called "Level Up". It features the vocals of up and coming artist and dancer, Mishon.
Historically, JD and Brat make timeless hit records. On Level Up, they take it back and hit us with the back and forth flow, like on the classic, "Funkdafied" from Da Brats debut album. This could be the warm up for an album from JD or Brat or both. Either way, I only see the game benefitting from it.

Paul Walker To Be Replaced By Body Doubles and CGI
The death of Paul Walker is one that saddened fans all over the world. The Fast and Furious franchise has a huge following, and the loss of this great actor left many devastated. As depressed as fans were though, many couldn't help but wonder what will happen for the next Fast and Furious installment, Fast and Furious 7.
The film already pushed its release date in December to April 10, 2015 after the death of Walker. After setting this new release date, Universal suggested that Paul Walker will still appear in the upcoming film, regardless of his untimely fate. “They have hired four actors with bodies very similar to Paul’s physique and they will be used for movement and as a base,” said a source to the New York Daily News. "Paul's face and voice will be on top using CGI." Walker is known for playing cop Brian O'Conner in all of the Fast and Furious installments except for Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift. Because he is the star in the upcoming film alongside costar Vin Diesel, this may be a task that is difficult to pull off.
James Wan is to direct this next chapter in the widely successful series, and Vin Diesel and Neal H. Moritz are returning to produce it as well. The filming was delayed after 40-year-old Walker died in a car crash on November 30 in Valencia, California, just outside of Los Angeles. The cast and crew was about halfway done with production of the next film in the series when the tragedy struck, with Walker's performance unfinished. Vin Diesel is now determined to make this the best one in the series, and I could only hope that they're all brought to even more success after his loss.

[Video] Big Boi Speaks Out on Outkast Reunion
The biggest music news story so far of 2014 is most definitely the larger-than-life announcement that Big Boi and Andre 3000 will assemble once again as Outkast as part of what seems to be a year-long reunion tour spanning over 40 festivals, indicative of the status quo of a music industry that is a much different environment than the one the duo exited stage left from 10 years ago, after their 11x platinum Speakerboxx/The Love Below became the second highest-selling hip-hop album of all time. Big Boi sits down with RevoltTV to discuss his longevity in the game and his excitement at linking back up with his old friend to re-live the music that made both of them stars in their own right. Check out what Big Boi has to say in the video below.

Young Scooter: "Fresh Outta Jail"
Young Scooter is "Fresh Outta Jail" and already back in the studio working. This one-off joint probably won't find itself in any project, but Scooter makes it clear that he didn't lose a step while locked-up for six months and sounds as hungry to make it as ever. Street Lottery 2 will be out on January 1st, but you can stream this Zaytoven-produced track below.
