[Video] Ibn Inglor: "BLACK PRINT"

Ibn Inglor is a promising up-and-coming artist from Chicago who has been able to make his music be heard all across the country just based off the quality it exudes. No connections or fake interactions with people in the medium. That type of realness is palpable in his latest album New Wave (which we sadly missed on posting when it came out) and especially in "BLACK PRINT." The single is more of a statement by Ibn on the industry, bloggers, and his craft without any sugar-coating. In a time in which fans clamor for raw and passionate music, Ibn fits in perfectly with his erratic style. The track received a visual treatment and it premiered on The Fader yesterday, make sure you watch it and give his 'tape a chance.

Ibn Inglor: "WAXXX"

Ibn Inglor was recently named one of Complex's 25 New Rappers to Watch Out For, a career highlight for the 20 year-old emcee who hasn't stopped grinding for over a year. But if you think he's going to slow down now that the accomplishments are rolling around on a consistent basis, "WAXXX" will surely make you reevaluate the way you see Ibn. This single is yet another impressive cut from his upcoming 'tape New Wave

Ibn Inglor: "Cold Storm"

Ibn Inglor is known for his dark sound and his lyrics of grandiosity with a hint of human characteristics. Instead of being overwhelmed by the instrumental's dark essence, Ibn usually takes command of the song. In "COLD STORM" that's exactly what happens over production by Mhone Glor. Ibn's forthcoming project, New Wave, is in the works.

Ibn Inglor: "Track 5"

We can now dismiss one more record from Ibn Inglor's latest series as he has released "Track 5" today. Rock with the young god on his latest cut, produced by Brandon Mahone, below!

[RH Premiere] Jarred A.G.: Luxury Tax

After both a First Listen on Jarred A.G.'s single "Play Around" and a First Look on the emerging Chicago act, we're now proud to premiere his debut project Luxury Tax. Featuring appearances from Dally Auston and Ibn Inglor, there is a presence of youthful Chicagoans imbued in the tracks. Couple that with fire production from Jarred's brother and frequent collaborator Smoko Ono, as well as C-Sick, Samiyam and Benny Nice. After experimenting with hip hop for only "a year and a half", he's got an extensive catalog, and the Luxury Tax EP is seemingly only the tip of the iceberg. The six track EP comes across as a cohesive product and is a great introduction to the young artist. Listen below and stay on the lookout for more from A.G.

Ibn Inglor: "Cold Winter"

Ibn Inglor

Although here in Chicago it seemed as if winter arrived a little later than usual, Ibn Inglor was still inspired by the freezing temperatures that hit the city every year and spits some captivating rhymes on life and his surroundings over a dark spaced-out instrumental produced by PGMW. Expect Inglor's Gawdspeed project to impact on January 13th via DJBooth.
