Let me preface this post by saying that I wasn’t aware of Tinder’s existence until a couple of weeks ago. Equal parts OK Cupid, Let’s Date, and Hot or Not, Tinder is an app that scans your current GPS position for Tinder users within the vicinity. Users can then choose or pass on potential new friends/lovers/one night stands/hook-ups/etc. If two people choose each other, they’re allowed to send messages for their nightly moments of (presumably) drunken shenanigans.

The sketch comedy group Bad Weather Films made a funny web short, Tinder: The Movie, highlighting the funnier side of the app, referencing and alluding to The Social Network in the process. Whether you’re a Tinder veteran or still in Tindergarten, there’s something to like in Tinder: The Movie. Just remember: your explicit use of Tinder doesn’t mean you’re good at talking to people; you’re just good at finding those around you that are just as desperate.
