The ILLZ - "M.P.A. (My Public Apology)" (Video)

http://rubyhornet.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/illz_off.jpg

The ILLZ is back with the 3rd installment of his "In Between Series" releasing in full on August 17th. "M.P.A.(My Public Apology)" is more sentimental than we've seen The ILLZ. Yet, as proved before he and director Kristopher Rey-Talley do an amazing job depicting any mood with well-done cinematographic shots that clearly portray the vibe and emotion of The ILLZ lyrics.

J. Cole: "Problems" (No Tags)

J. Cole

A mixtape surfaced today with a ton of unreleased/new tracks that were all tagged up to no end. The guy obviously bought these exclusives, which is exactly what gives bloggers a bad name, what a fool. Anyway DDot came out and gave us the un-tagged version of this J. Cole song and said that the song is not finished. You can obviously tell from listening to the song that there is more work to be done, maybe it will be an eventual track from his album? It is kind of scary that even when it is an unfinished song, J. Cole is better then so many other rappers out there.

Chiddy Bang: "The Opposite of Adults" Remix feat Jim Jones

Chiddy Bang

For those who don't know Chiddy Bang is an up and coming synth-rap duo made up of rapper Chiddy and producer Xaphoon Jones. Their ear for indie samples have gotten them to international success, even just going platinum on the original version of this song over in Australia. Jim Jones jumps on Chiddy Bang's #1 single to give it some Harlem flavor. They are currently about to go on tour with Donnis and XV so you can look out for that, as well as their album which features some work with Pharrell among a ton of other greatness.

Calle 13 "Calma Pueblo" Video

Calle 13

I've been a fan of Calle 13 for a while now and I always look forward to them dropping new music. Rene Perez, the lead rapper of the group, is probably one of the dopest Spanish speaking rappers to grace the mic. His lyrics are usually politically charged, filled with satire, and fierce on the lyricisim.

"Calma Pueblo", their new single, addresses the music industry, record labels, governments, the Catholic church and others in power who try to oppress people and make them do what they want. Rene preaches on the hook that he is here to be the voice of the people, and not to worry. Check out the video and below and cop the song at laCalle13.com
