The RedEye’s Kyra Kyles hosts a “Track-Off” every Monday on her blog, The Kyles Files. Each week she picks two artists, posts a track for each and lets fans vote on who has the better song. The weekly article provides a chance for independent artists to get a spotlight boost, and also appear in a future edition of The RedEye’s “Pop Picks” column. I checked it out today and found a familiar face, as Scheme is going head to head against Mr. Bellicosity. In the interest of full-disclosure, Scheme is definitely our homie, as he appeared in our Closed Session with Emilio Rojas and is about to drop a RubyHornet x 2Dopeboyz sponsored mixtape.
