Blu

Blu & Exile’s Below The Heavens is easily one of the best Hip Hop albums recorded in the last decade. There have been many rumors of a sequel to the project but nothing has come to fruition. However, the two did collaborate again on this latest album titled Give Me My Flowers While I Can Smell Them. The album is a refreshing listen, that again showcases the profound product that emerges from their collaboration. I personally believe that while Blu’s more experimental work is cool, when he make Hip Hop in its truest vein the products are exponentially better, see “The Clean Hand” . Check out the stream below and if you would like to purchase the project, you can also do so through Band Camp.

On another note, make sure to check out track 9, “Everybody Nose,” which features Exile’s other all-star collaborator Fashawn.
