[Album Preview] WZRD: WZRD
As the release date for Kid Cudi and Dot Da Genius's collabo project WZRD draws nearer we get a album preview in the form of a few snippets.
[Beat Tape] Mulatto Beats: Adderall
Mulatto Beats is a young beatsmith still in highschool and one fifth of Chicago's Supreme Regime. A little over a week ago he loosed a ten track tape titled Adderal. The album begins with a sample of some news room dialogue revolving around the heavy use of the drug in our modern culture, something I as a college student have experienced first hand. However if you're expecting a collection of tracks pulsating with stimulant induced energy you'd be wrong. Mulatto Beats hits listeners with some great vibes and I am excited to hear more. The artist wrote that Adderal is the "first 10 beat instrumental mixtape of many to come" so stay tuned for more.
[Mixtape] Rilgood: JFK
Dot Da Genius's protege Rilgood came through today and dropped his debut project JFK. The tape is full of abstract samples that you would be hard pressed to find in another hip hop mixtape. His buzz is sure to continue growing and it seems to be warranted as he has presented himself as yet another talent to emerge from NYC. And he did this while pushing his own unique sound. Download and stream JFK below via DatPiff.
[Video] Juicy J: "Drugged Out"
In quintessential Juicy J fashion, the Oscar winning rapper dropped a new video today for his Blue Dream & Lean inspired "Drugged Out". Directed by Figz and produced by Lex Lugar, the track is a banger without a doubt. The video features cuts of live performances, drugged out studio sessions, Kreayshawn and V-Nasty (?). Not necessarily an odd combination for one of the world's most active rappers. Check it out below and if you haven't grabbed his latest mixtape, do so here.

[Beat Tape] Alexander Spit: Mansions
When we caught up with Alexander Spit earlier this year, the Cali based artist was beginning to review his extensive catalog in preparation for the release of a beat tape. Mansions is the product of his review, clocking in at 28 tracks and full of varying sounds, tempos, and samples. The only feature on the album comes from Anna in the form of "Prozac", which has a cooler Lana Del Rey-esque sound [below]. Overall the tape is a great reflection of Spit's ecclectic style and highly individual sound. If you haven't check out his These Long Strange Nights mixtape yet, you should do so as well.

Buddy: "Agitated" featuring Sir Michael Rocks (prod. Chuck Inglish)
Buddy will blow up this year, mark my words. The Star Trak signee teamed up with Sir Michael Rocks to murder a Chuck Inglish production. The track dropped yesterday in celebration of Valentine's Day, but it isn't all lovey-dovey. It is about one of those super fine females who also happens to be utterly spoiled and annoying. Check it out below and look for Buddy's Idle Time to drop later this year.Read more
brandUn Deshay: "Fame Over Lame" (produced by Elijah R.A.W.K.)
brandUn Deshay is a Chicagoan who happens to pop up across the map. He's worked heavily in Los Angeles, at one point in time he was a part of Odd Future, and now he's out in NY working with artists like Elijah R.A.W.K. [Phony PPL]. Check out his latest track, "Fame Over Lame", off of his upcoming Seven7Ceven album. No release date has been comfirmed for the project but we will let you know when there is one. If you haven't already, check out Deshay's All Day Deshay AM project that released last year.
