[Mixtape] DopeMusicBlog Presents: The Cho$en Few

dopemusicblog

DopeMusicBlog linked up with various skilled artists throughout this past few months and compiled 19 exclusive tracks by the likes of Martin $ky, Raven Sorvino, Chuuwee, Uno Hype, AWKWORD and many more to make The Cho$en Few. Some acts are regulars here at RubyHornet, but there were also some young emcees that we haven't listened to before but give us a good first-impression with their records. Overall, The Cho$en Few a very complete and cohesive project that you will surely enjoy. If you enjoy this project, make sure to check out our On To The Next mixtape, which dropped earlier this year.

Malcolm London: "All Gold Everything" Freestyle

malcolm_london

"If I got to wear a chain, then it better be all gold everything."

Malcolm London recently messed around at Saba's in-house studio and came away with this new "All Gold Everything" freestyle.  Jewelry isn't really the topic at hand here, as gold is more of a mindframe for London and co.  This is why London landed a spot on our come up list.  Peep it below.

[EP] Curren$y x Closed Sessions: 3 Piece Set (prod. by Thelonious Martin)

3 piece set

After it's release Monday, we are  back up at RH and catching up a bit. So, here is the new EP from Curren$y x Closed Sessions: 3 Piece Set (prod. by Thelonious Martin). The EP was recorded the day after Thanksgiving at Soundscape Studios, before Curren$y's show at the Congress. This EP really brings things full circle, as Curren$y dropped the first Closed Sessions joint, “Rapper Weed” in ’09.  The full EP was produced by Thelonious Martin, who previously produced "Talk My Shit".

Family, Friends, Holidays. Enjoy. As always, lookout for more from the Jet Life camp x Closed Sessions.

Kids These Days x Phony Ppl: "Mary Christmas"

kids_these_days

These are likely to two most talented rising young bands the U.S.A has to offer, and what a better time than the holidays to link up & create with friends. The track was recorded last week while Nico & Vic where in NYC, and wrapped with a verse from Elbee Thrie X-mas morning. We need more of this & I assume they agree. "Merry Christmas." Spark.
