Donald Glover has had an illustrious entertainment career since he gained attention through the YouTube comedy troupe, Derrick Comedy. Since 2006, Glover has gone on to write for 30 Rock, wrote/produced his Mystery Team, starred in Community, and attained recognition for his rap ability under the moniker Childish Gambino with CuldesacCamp, and the many mixtapes and EPs he’s dropped in between.

However, as any artist or creative type will tell you, our doubts and fears can sometimes be overwhelming. In a series of Instagram posts, Glover shared some of his thoughts and fears, including his decision to leave Community, his relationship, the problems he’s facing over Because the Internet and his label, Glassnote Records, and more. Most of the personal fears are thoughts most everybody has felt while in a relationship. In regards to Community, considering the mistreatment the show has faced from NBC, I can’t really blame him for wanting to move on. As for his issues with Glassnote Records, it’s a common problem most aspiring musicians run into when money and executives enter the mix. You can see the IG photos in the gallery below.

Sometimes, it’s good to open up about such things. In Glover’s case, his honesty and openness has been what separates Childish Gambino from most other rappers. Barring any problems, we’ll be able to listen to Because the Internet by the end of the year and watch Glover’s return to TV on Atlanta next year.
