J.Cole recently announced via his twitter, he will release his debut LP Cole World: The Sideline Story on September 27th, 2011. A couple days ago at the office we were having a debate over Cole & what he next steps as an artist should be and things got a little heated. Hopefully the label allows Cole to make and release music at his will, until the able drops. We agreed that Cole should stick to the sound of “Hiiipower” and make music under his own guidelines. We also decided on, that despite Cole’s lyrical assassin presence on the mic, we could do without the patented J.Cole love song. Without a doubt his album will be fire & we hope nothing but the best for Cole, as he enters the summer grind of promoting the LP.
