Sufjan Stevens Announces New LP
The Detroit native who is here today with more news, only a week after releasing the eight-track EP All Delighted People, today Stevens announced plans for the October 12th release of a brand new full-length. Titled, "The Age Of Adz" (pronounced Odds. phonetically spelled like a true mid-westerner). His label Asthmatic Kitty writes...
"It’s much too soon to cast descriptive lots, but we can say the new album sounds nothing like the All Delighted EP (although it shares similar themes of love, loss, and the apocalypse). Nor is this new album built around any conceptual underpinning (no odes to states, astrology, or urban expressways).We can say it shows an extensive use of electronics (banjos and acoustic guitars give way to drum machines and analog synthesizers), and an obsession with cosmic fantasies (space, heaven, aliens, love), to create an explicit pop-song extravaganza, augmented by heavy orchestration, and maybe even a few danceable moments."

El Guincho: "FM Tan Sexy"
El Guincho is the recording alias of electronic/pych/pop Spanish musician Pablo Díaz-Reixa, who received much acclaim from his 2nd albu, Alegranza. "FM Tan Sexy" the 2nd single from his September 14th release Pop Negro, strays away from the layer heavy tunes on his first albums that went over so well, as here we see much more structure and balance but I believe people will still enjoy, this fun sound.

Here's the video for "A Different World" off of Aleon Craft's recent Stargazing Soundtrack mixtape. The video takes you into Aleon's "different world" or Decatur, GA. We get a look into how Aleon spends some of his time and what the social scene is like where he's from. As expected, it's got a southern feel, be it the moonshine in the glass jar or the food. Today ¡MAYDAY! is here with visuals for their song "Pass The 45" off their new LP Stuck On An Island which is out soon. Producer-guitarist Plex Luthor told Music Remedy, Stuck on an Island displays Mayday's intentions “to make sure the world knows musicians from this city (Miami) can compete culturally with the best of them.” Hit the jump for the video.
FloDeep: "Monster Music"
Collectively known as FloDeep, Marion Write, Nique, and Radio Ramone, showcase their skills on a monstrous track with each rapper spitting fire over a vicious Mr. Kooman produced beat. The three rappers, all out of Vegas, paint an almost overwhelmingly dark picture (and the track starts with a Charles Manson vocal sample). Big Boi Announces Tour Dates
Big Boi has announced the official dates for his Son Of Chico Dusty tour. The tour starts at the end of August and will end in mid-November in Sydney Australia (weird because logically it's not the next place that comes to mind after Chattanooga, TN).
