Typical Cats and Chance The Rapper shared the stage Friday night at Bottom Lounge for Typical Cats’ album release party. Typical Cats won the packed crowd over early, coming to the stage behind classics from their debut orange album, then moving into solo material, songs from Civil Service, and of course, a healthy dose of songs from their latest LP, 3. Following the show, Typical Cats and Chance The Rapper hit Zak Jablow’s Fox Studios, where they collaborated on a new record well into Saturday morning.
The song is produced by Jablow and Silence of Dirty Digital. It has a very crisp and uplifting sound, and doesn’t cater specifically to the styles of Typical Cats nor Chance The Rapper. More info on the song and the session soon. Check out more pics that I took at the session.
