[Video] Schoolboy Q Performs Everywhere In Support of "Oxymoron"
If you haven't heard already, the second wave of TDE just crested and is currently flooding the country with smooth, introspective new-age west coast gangsta rap, courtesy of the bucket-hatted Schoolboy Q. As casual as one can be stepping into the bright lights at the top of the rap world, Q has handled it gracefully thus far, and has been on a marathon pace of performing as of late. The 27-year-old father made recent stops on Conan, where he performed "Studio" with BJ The Chicago Kid, at Arsenio Hall where he killed "Man of the Year" and then, the other night, in a parking lot outside a Hooters from the top of a tour bus with Mac Miller he did "Yay Yay" at a pop-up concert across the street from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. All that on top of the release of Oxymoron isn't bad for a week's work. The live backing band is on point in both late night show performances and the energy at the pop-up show is just an inkling of the power hold TDE has over the genre of hip-hop today. Schoolboy Q hits the Wilbur Theatre in Boston, MA on March 2 to kick off the "Oxymoron World Tour". Check out the videos below.

[Video] Chance The Rapper Performs on Arsenio Hall
Chance The Rapper and co. wrapped up their "Social Experiment Tour" yesterday in Los Angeles with a performance at the Nokia Theater. Before heading there, though, they made a stop at the Arsenio Hall Show where Chance, backed by his band of Peter CottonTale, Nico Segal, Nate Fox and Greg Landfair, and looking fresh to death in custom "Social Experiment" letterman jackets, played their re-arranged live version of "Chain Smoker" off of Acid Rap, which has steadily been making the rounds at the top of nearly everyone's top albums of the year list.
Throughout the performance Chano seemed to be reveling in the moment, soaking in the feeling of having propelled himself to this very point. As Chance closes the book on a historic 2013, his performance on "Arsenio" seemed to be a sort of revelatory moment. Watch the full streaming video below from last night and scroll just a little further for Chance's hilarious interview with Nardwuar while he was on tour in Vancouver.

[Video] Tyler, The Creator on "The Arsenio Hall Show"
Arsenio Hall welcomed Tyler, The Creator to his show last night and sat down with the Odd Future de facto leader to talk on a wide array of subjects, including the YouTube Music Awards, his latest music video as a director, and relationships. Tyler was very candid throughout the interview and dropped a few inspirational gems that are definitely worth listening to.
[Video] Janelle Monae Performs on Arsenio Hall
Janelle Monae popped up last night on Arsenio Hall's new late night talk show to perform her single "Electric Lady" after sitting down with Hall and discussing the intricacies of lyricism, especially in her song "Dorothy Dandridge Eyes". The performance comes on the heels of a rousing set at BET's Black Girls Rock celebration and just a continuance of one of the career of one of our favorite contemporary performing artists. Check out the video from the performance below and be sure to pick up Monae's The Electric Lady via iTunes.
