Take Better Photos From Your Smart Phone With Moment Lenses

There's a quote that goes something like, "the best camera to have is the one you have with you." Now I'm not sure if that is the exact quote but the point that I'm getting at is the camera that we have access to the most and is always with us is on our phone. A phone is easy to travel with and with the technology available today, you're able to create some pretty impressive images. With the rise of mobile photography we have see lenses exclusively made for smart phones to increase the quality of the photos we take. Here is where Moment enters the game; promising quality photos with better lenses than what's available, and an easier way to attach them to our phones. Moment lenses are attached using a thin, case-friendly adhesive metal strip for an attachment point that you can use with or without at case. You can learn more about Moment lenses at their website and make sure to visit their Kickstarter campaign page here.

[Video] The DIY Leica Camera Assembly Kit That Never Was

For Leica's 100th anniversary, designer Marcelo Ribeiro under F/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi was to create a DIY Leica camera as a gift to Brazilian store customers who had purchased any M camera during the year. This kit is truly DIY giving the lucky owner a taste of what it is like to make a real Leica camera. It would come with an acrylic sheet where you could just punch out pieces and combine it to the body one piece at a time. The kit never made it into production because the costs were too high, but it was a pretty cool idea, and it was unfortunate that Leica couldn't pull it off. Check out the video about the DIY Leica camera that never became a reality.

Introducing The Lecia X2 Gagosian Edition Camera

Leica and Gagosian Art Gallery have come together to bring you a very limited edition of the Leica X2 camera. The camera itself is identical to the current Lecia X2 as far as functionality goes, except that its paint job is a little different, which features black paint splotches against a white leather grip. Only 100 of the cameras are going to be produced. Since there are only going to be a small quantity made, the price certainly reflects its rarity, coming in at $2,999.00. Fujifilm Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic Camera

There was a time when people used film prints and polaroids to share their photos with each other instead of uploading them directly to their favorite social media site. Recently, there has been a growing interest in going back to analog film, and if you're one of those people, you might want to check out the new Fujifilm Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic Camera.

It might look like the rest of the new breed of instant cameras, but this one has a lot more features to play around with to explore your creativity. The camera has a lot of modes to choose from, and there's one for every occasion from macro and double exposure modes, a speed mode, and even a party mode, as well as a bulb mode for long exposures when shooting at night. The best part is when you finish taking a shot, it's developed and printed instantly for you to hold.
