[Video] Arctic Monkeys: "Hold On, We're Going Home"

Drake is everywhere. Even indie rockers, the Arctic Monkeys got in on the Drake frenzy that has heated up as leaks of Nothing Was The Same began hitting the internet. Turns out, Wu Tang Clan aren't the only ones with their own rendition of a Drake song. Yesterday, video of the band covering the song at BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge series came available. Check it out below.

Drake: "Wu-Tang Forever"

So, Drake likes to make headlines, he told us a much on his 2011 song, "Headlines". His latest move has ignited a fire storm on social networking sites from Twitter to Facebook and back to Google+. That he named this song "Wu-Tang Forever" is questionable at best. To be fair, he does say the words Wu-Tang in it so. . . why not name the love/thought song after one of the most iconic rap groups of all time? I don't know. People have to remember, Drake is not a rapper, Drake is a feeling: "it's raining outside, I feel Drake". I suppose he has his own reason for the title of the track, a single off his upcoming album, which includes a sample of the Wu-Tang Clan song "It's Yourz" while Drizzy bites Raekwons bars, "Machine gun raps for all my n----s in the back / Stadium packed, just glad to see the city on the map." He tries to go in on the last verse, seemingly fitting as many words in a row as he can in some sort of mad rush to prove he can perform up to the track's title. All in all though, it doesn't stray far from what Drake knows: emotional sex, coming up from Toronto and singing once in awhile. Check it out for yourself below and keep an eye out for Nothing Was The Same out September 24.

[Stream] The Weeknd: "Kiss Land"

The Weeknd, quiet since his release of his Trilogy series last year, premiered his latest album, Kiss Land via an album stream on NPR, which is available here. At first listen, the newest offering from the Toronto native isn't much of a departure from his earlier work: introspective-laden lyrics dripping in layers with a lot of large-scale production behind it, albeit a bit more dance-laden. The Weeknd does what he does well, and that sentiment isn't lost on him as he seems to further his brand and personal genre with Kiss Land. The lone feature go to Drake (of course), check it out for yourself.

Drake: "Hold on We're Going Home"

Only a handful of artists besides Drake could have accomplished what he did these past 18 months. The Toronto native was able to remain in the headlines, establish his own festival and still be considered an elite emcee without a project out. Drizzy is now focused on releasing his third LP Nothing Was The Same and completely take over the game with one of the most anticipated projects in recent memory. In "Hold on We're Going Home", the latest single from the album, we see a more retro-side from Drake; taking inspiration from R&B and deep-house. Definitely a risky move by the Young Money signee, which was successfully executed and will probably pay dividends with radio plays.

Drake: "The Motion" + 3 New Songs

The internet goes crazy every single time Drake drops a new record, now imagine how insane it got today as the emcee released four tracks and the official release date for Nothing Was The Same. "The Motion" is the highlight of the patch and it is rumored to appear on the LP, while "Jodeci Freestyle" has J. Cole featured, "Versace" is a remix to the Migos' popular track and "Over Here" featuring the latest OVO member PARTYNEXTDOOR.

Page: "I'm Still Fly" featuring Drake (inst x acapella)

Drake

Fellow DJ's, here's something to have a little fun with.  Along with the dirty mp3 for the Page x Drake collabo, "I'm Still Fly", I was also able to get my hands on the instrumental and acapella, and have decided to spread them around.  You can download the full package below, and if you're not a DJ or producer, you can just take the real version.  If you happen to do something with the acapella, send it over.  We'll post the good ones, and if someone's is really dope, we'll include it on the forthcoming sequel to RTC's "Just Listen...You'll Like It."
